Key Stage 3

We teach the following subjects of the Key stage 3 and 4 from the list of compulsory national curriculum subjects are:

Key stage 3 (Year 7, 8, 9)

  • English
  • Maths
  • Science

Key stage 4 (Year 10, 11)
During key stage 4 most pupils work towards national qualifications – usually GCSEs.

The compulsory national curriculum subjects are the ‘core’ and ‘foundation’ subjects.

Core subjects are:

  • English
  • Maths
    Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
  • Computer Science
  • ICT

KS3 and KS4:

Maths: As per the national curriculum, we cover the following topics in Maths

  • Number
  • Algebra
  • Ratio, proportions and rates of change
  • Geometry and measures
